yesterday was csd berlin. i am sure you know what  christopher street is about, if not check it out on wikipedia. it started as a political movement and the first csd in berlin was celebrated on the 30th of June 1979. in those times it happened that people were standing at kurfürstendamm staring in shock and with disgust at “the homos”. most of them gladly became extincted.

today the csd is not only a political parade, but a huge party with beautiful costumes, colourful wagons and about 500.000 participants and a platform for big companies and political parties to show how tolerant they are (or try to show off). anyaways, the good thing is a good party makes friends. so quite a few of the participants might not be gay, may be they are not even fighting for gay rights, it is even better they just don’t care if one is gay, transgender or not. it was the day for a huge party with lot’s of friends from all over the world. celebrating equality with fun and music.

and again, i forgot the date and did not bring my camera. so note to myself, don’t leave the house without your camera.
