Long Story Short, is a cafe & shop in Berlin-Charlottenburg. I can’t believe this little treasure was found by Jonathan and not me – usually, I am the Kaffeetante.
It’s right around the corner. Well, 2 or three corners. They serve all the lovely things one needs during a break from a Photoshop retouch and Invoice writing. Today, Jonathan and I went with our dear friend Lee and ordered Scones. There is only one other place I like to go for Scones and that is the Luftbrückencafe, but that’s quite a journey. So, long story short, I am very happy to have Long Story Short around the corner. Attached to the cafe there is a little shop with beautiful things one of my friends might just get for their birthday.
Today we not only got delicious food but also experienced the Spirit of New Zealand and had a great chat with the owner; at one point a lady from Finland tuned in and the little cafe was all chitty and chatty and so much fun.
Update:
Long Story Short as a café is closed, but Dene Hohwieler continues to spoil us with her amazing baking skills as Long Story Short bakers. More here.
