last weekend i was on sylt for a short trip for some shootings of the pwa windsurf world cup. no wind, no competition. and sylt is not my favorite place at the north sea coast. but who i am i complaining! it’s the northsea and if you leave kampen or westerland, that it still is a beautiful northsea island, with the typical milky look. sometimes friends send me pictures from the maledives, or an island in the mediterranean sea, or somewhere in thailand and think i might get jealous, ha. turquoise water, palms, exotic smell? i love the north sea coast, the pacific or the atlantique coast. Rough and wild sea, with greyish sea colours, screaming seagulls, and grumpy people. send me pictures from a stormy day in cornwall, scotland, san sebastian but maledives?!
